My oldest, biggest dog is extremely laid back. The two young dogs will mess with him, and it takes a lot for him to even growl, much less chase one away. My youngest, smallest dog is a bully. Hope will steal food, growl at anybody invading her space, & even try to boss everybody around. But today, Big Boy gave us all a shock. Hope was lying next to me on the couch and Big Boy just jumped up and stood over her. She growled and barked. Big Boy slowly laid down. Hope moved. Quickly. It was a long time coming, but Big Boy finally showed us all who is boss. I hope my Packers follow his lead.

I am a mom, a teacher, a student and a lover of the written word, especially God's Word. Wisdom is in short supply in so much of our world, so I go right to the top. I hope the things I write will be uplifting and entertaining. If you like my posts, check out my books on Amazon.com (Fran Driscoll/Roberts). The sequel to "A Place Called Grace" is "A Place Without Mercy." The third, stand-alone book in the series is “A Broken Place,” which is my best story yet. Of course, I have a couple of new stories in the works, and may rewrite my "31 Prayers for When Life Isn't Fair" devotional. If you see anything really unique that you think would make a great story, let me know. I love to collect stories as much as read and write them. View all posts by fdriscoll7
